The Risks of a Tummy Tuck

The formation of fat or blood clots in the blood vessels (generally in the leg) can happen and it can be deadly if it is not diagnosed and treated right away. When they do occur blood clots usually happen to women who are taking birth control pills and have been doing so for a number of years. Skin tissue death (or necrosis) is uncommon but sometimes happens to tummy tuck patients who are smokers and those who suffer from diabetes.
